What's provided?
All fishing Equipment and Tackle are included in your trip. Feel free to bring along your own equipment after discussion with the Captain. Water and ice will be provided as well.
Meeting locations
Meeting locations will vary; it will depend on time of year and target species.
The meeting locations are Bass River, Sesuit Harbor and Taylor Point Marina.
Capacity
One to Three Anglers is ideal for the 23 Pathfinder and will ensure enough room for casting. If your group is larger than 3 we may opt to take the larger 28 Southport.
Cancellations
The Captain will have an accurate weather forecast two days ahead of your scheduled trip. This will determine the possibility of Cancellation with the ability to Re-book.
Deposits and Refunds
A $200 Deposit will be collected at the time you book with CCFC. This will be non-refundable and can be applied to future dates. Cancellations within 72 hours of charter will be charged 50% of charter rate.
General Laws & Rules
All Children must be accompanied by an adult and wear a life vest at all times. If you have a medical condition please make the Captain aware of your needs. We abide by and support all conservation, safety, and marine laws & regulations set by NOAA, USCG, and the State of Massachusetts.
Clothing & Gear
How you dress is very important for your comfort & performance on the water. Some of the best fishing days can be less than ideal weather days. Always dress accordingly - IE warm, dry jackets or shells, bibs or rain pants, sun protection, hat, non-slip footwear like Grundens’s deck boots etc. Don’t forget polarized sunglasses as vision on the water is very important.
Equipment failure versus equipment abuse
Misuse or abuse in the result in equipment failure will result in a repair fee or replacement fee.
